From an International Staff Member

Hello SAC family, my name is Noa Levy, and I am one of the fortunate international counselors.

I was born and raised in Spain, and this past summer marked my second year at SAC. My brother came to SAC a few years ago and had an amazing time. Being someone who craves adventure, I had to experience it for myself. Connecting with Sephardic Jews from outside Spain has been an incredible journey.

I always wanted to attend a camp in America but never found one that suited me. However, when I came to SAC, I immediately felt at home.

I was delighted to witness the inclusivity and the strong bond with traditions that everyone here shares. There is something truly special in the air at SAC, as I cannot find any other explanation for the wonderful experiences that I have gained here.

As a counselor for both B1 and G4, I have observed the distinct yet similar experiences of these age groups. Each group has its unique journey, but the passion and love for this community are evident in every bunk. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributes to making this camp happen, to those I know personally, and to those working behind the scenes.

Sending a warm Spanish hug to you all. I am eagerly looking forward to what the future holds for SAC!
