Chana Adatto-Shefa – Director
After studying in Israel, Chana moved to New York to attend college. For the past 5 years, she has been teaching at SAR Academy in Riverdale, New York. She is also the Athletic Director at the school. Chana loves outdoor sports, singing, dancing and basketball. She has managed to combine some of those interests by coaching a girls basketball team, offering interesting electives and singing whenever the opportunity arises.
Chana has been an active camper and counselor for many years. She is also not the first Adatto to spend a summer at SAC. Her brother, Ephraim has been a staff member for the past few years and before she was born, her parents were SAC campers and counselors.
Chana is very excited about moving into the director position at SAC. She looks forward to bringing her enthusiasm and experience with education to SAC this summer.
